Thoughts for the morning - Opportunities of a Flexible Future Some of our facilities, lecture thearters etc are not set up or conducive to facilitate new technology. Looks like a serious rethink of how these are set up needs to take place.
What is currently being done for staff? Arer we to plod along through trial and error, often with apathy for something a lot of us don't really understand? Is there any training provided or compulsory?
Finding/designing models of teaching or course design that incorporate the technologies in a way that encourage critical thinking and problem solving.
Middle of the road may be the way to go - more comfortable for the range of students that we are teaching, and more comfortable for the levels of staff capability.
